Jo qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1983 and is also registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Jo qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1983 and spent the next 6 years working in practices in England and Australia. In 1989 she set up Bramhall Osteopathic Practice and has continued to develop her osteopathic skills doing many post graduate courses. She has attained fellowship of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopaths (FSCCO). Jo is also registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Jo enjoys treating a wide variety of patients from new babies to the elderly.

Maureen qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1986 and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Maureen qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1986. Since that time Maureen has worked in several practices in England and New Zealand and ran her own practice in Sheffield for many years. Maureen has been with the practice since 1997. Maureen enjoys treating a wide range of patients from children to the elderly. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

Liz Halsey B.Sc.(Hons) OST.M.PHIL

Liz joined the practice in 2003. She is both an osteopath and an acupuncturist. Her patients can choose to be treated with osteopathy, acupuncture or a mixture of the two. Liz qualified as an osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy in 2003 and started using medical acupuncture in 2006. In 2014 she completed a degree in traditional Chinese acupuncture at Manchester Metropolitan University. Liz is registered with the Osteopathic Council, the Institute of Osteopathy and the British Acupuncture Council.

Jose Fernandez B.Sc.(Hons) OST

Jose is a registered osteopath who graduated from the College of Osteopaths and Keele University in 2010. Jose has also undertaken further training in the field of cranial osteopathy, with the College of Osteopaths, the Upledger Institute and the Sutherland Cranial College. He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Introduced to manual therapy massage more than a decade ago, Jose keeps developing a broad approach to the treatment of injury through osteopathy, combining very ‘directive’ and ‘structural’ techniques such as massage, stretching and ‘joint manipulation’, with the very subtle and soothing cranial work.

Kate Dewhurst M.Ost

Kate completed a 4 year degree from British School of Osteopathy and joined the practice in 2016. Kate enjoys treating patients of all ages together with a wide range of conditions and hopes to undertake postgraduate training in paediatric and cranial osteopathy early next year. Kate is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

Justine qualified from North Area College in 2005 and is also skilled in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.

Justine is registered with the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) and is a member of FHT. Justine has been with the practice since 2005.

Dee Woodcock B.Sc.(Hons) Chartered Physiotherapist

Dee graduated from the University of Salford in 2004 with a B.Sc.(Hons) in Physiotherapy. Dee is registered with the Health Professionals Council and is a member of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP). She has recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate in continence, bladder and bowel dysfunction. Dee also has post graduate training with the Australian Physio Pilates Institute.

Fiona Bullock  BA (Hons), Lic Ac, MBAcC

Fiona qualified in traditional acupuncture with a First Class Degree from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa in 1995. She has been practising ever since from her own clinic and has recently joined us. Fiona has a special interest in fertility, assisted conception and gynaecological issues as well as experience in treating a wide range of conditions. Fiona is a member of The British Acupuncture Council, which guarantees excellent levels of training and continuous learning amongst its members.

Suzanne Gaskell BA (Hons) BSc (Hons) MChS

Suzanne is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (www.feetforlife.org) and registered with the Health Professions Council (www.hpc-uk.org) She enjoys using the traditional chiropody skills, treating corns, calluses and nail problems, but can also offer podiatric opinion on foot mechanics.

Heather is a qualified hypnotherapist registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.  Heather has also successfully completed a recognised course in mindfulness.

Heather has over 20 years experience in healthcare, having previously practiced as a qualified Nurse (BSc Nursing Studies, 1st class honours) and Health Visitor (Diploma in community health studies). This rewarding and varied career has allowed Heather to work with many people and gain a wide understanding of medical conditions and the impact that such issues can have on peoples lives.

Karen is our Practice Manager and has been with the practice since it opened in Bramhall in 1989.

Claire Currie

Claire has recently joined our reception team and she brings experience of working in the medical and education field.

Margaret joined the practice in 2007 after having worked for many years in a legal firm. She has been a valuable member of the reception team since.

Marian Kidd

Marian has been a valuable part of the reception team for many years and now helps with holiday cover.
