All our practitioners are highly qualified in their field, undertaking regular continuing professional development and are registered with the relevant professional bodies.
Joanna C Cheaney D.O. (Hons)
Jo qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1983 and spent the next 6 years working in practices in England and Australia.
In 1989 she set up Bramhall Osteopathic Practice and has continued to develop her osteopathic skills doing many post graduate courses including attaining membership of the Southerland Society Cranial College.
Jo is also registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
Maureen Pickup D.O.
Maureen qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1986.
Since that time Maureen has worked in several practices in England and New Zealand and ran her own practice in Sheffield for many years.
Maureen has been with the practice since 1997 and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
Fabio Castellini B.Sc Ost
Fabio qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2004.
Prior to this he lived in Milan and through playing semi-professional tennis, developed an interest in body mechanics and so did a degree in Sports Science and a Massage qualification.
Fabio has worked in a number of practices in Cheshire since qualifying as an osteopath and joined our practice in 2005.
He also regulary lectures at the Osteopathic School in Milan and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
Joshua Enkin B.A., S.T.A.T., Lic.Ac., M.B.Ac.C.
Joshua qualified in 1985 from Darlington, Devon and has worked as an Alexander teacher since.
He has also completed a course in Acupuncture in Reading and more recently qualified as a Homeopath at Manchester's North West College of Homeopathy in 2007.
He has worked at the practice for many years and brings a wonderful combination of skills to our patients.
Justine King BA (HONS) , IIHHT, Assoc. MIFPA
Justine qualified from North Area College in 2005 and uses her combined skills with Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage very effectively.
Justine has been with the practice since 2005.
Sara Pearson (Dip Couns) MBACP
Sara is a counsellor who initially trained and worked as a nurse and midwife.
She then became a school nurse before deciding to have a change in career.
At Stockport College she completed a one year course in Counselling skills followed by a further two year diploma in counselling.
She qualified as a counsellor in 2006 and combines working in the practice with bereavement counselling at St Anne’s Hospice.
Karen Hackett
Karen is our Practice Manager and has been with the practice since it opened in Bramhall in 1989.
She has played a big part in helping develop it from a “one man band” to the multi-disciplinary practice it is today.
Sheila Asprey
Sheila is one of our very friendly and efficient receptionists and has been with the practice since 1996.
Ann Johnson
Ann is another member of the excellent reception team and has been with the practice since 2001.
Margaret Schofield
Margaret joined the practice in 2007.
She has been a valuable member of the reception team since.
Claire Haigh
We have been lucky to have had Claire working in the practice for many years.
At present, she plays a key role in administering the accounts.
